The EN1721 integrated temperature and humidity transmitter is designed for indoor use in moderate temperatures and features an onboard temperature and humidity sensor. The transmitter sends a Radio Frequency (RF) transmission to the nearest EN5040T Receiver to report real time temperature and humidity.
- Transmits temperature and humidity periodically and upon significant change
- Measurement range: -4° to 140°F and 0 to 90% relative humidity
- Typical accuracy of 0.5°F and 2.0% relative humidity
- 902 – 928 MHz North America
Wireless Modem Rental
A wireless internet connection is required for all PEPCO Detection products and systems. If a wireless internet connection is not currently in place, PEPCO Detection offers wireless modems on a rental basis.

Rebates & Incentives
In multi-family housing properties where gas is used for heating, PEPCO Detection Wireless Temperature Sensors regulate building heat resulting in 15%-45% gas savings annually.
Through the Consolidated Edison Multifamily Energy Efficiency Program (MFEEP), ConEd offers incentives for installing energy-efficient electric and gas equipment and technologies. Energy efficiency can help improve the bottom line by reducing energy use and maintenance costs while increasing operating efficiencies. These upgrades also help protect the environment.
For larger multi-family properties that use PEPCO Detection Wireless Temperature Sensor systems to regulate gas-heated buildings, CONED will pay $4 for every therm saved. A typical 2 bedroom apartment uses 600 therms for heat annually. For example: in a 1,000 unit apartment complex, gas usage runs about 600,000 therms annually. A conservative 15% savings will receive a $360,000 rebate (600,000 X 15% Savings = 90,000 Therms X $4.00 pr therm saved = $360,000).
In commercial buildings that use gas for heating the CONED rebate can be as high as 70% of the project cost. For example: a commercial building that installs a $100,000 PEPCO Detection Wireless Temperature Sensor system to regulate heat can receive rebates and incentives from CONED as high as $70,000 toward the cost of installation. Smart buyers finance the remaining 30% of the cost to implement the system, then pay down the loan with positive cash flow generated from their annual gas savings.
Rebates are available on a first come, first served basis, and all projects must be installed by November 15, 2021. Therefore, we highly encourage you to act fast to capture your share of the $2 million in rebates available for energy efficiency upgrades.
